Upon hearing the tragic event, Malaika and her sister, fellow actress Amrita Arora, traveled to their mother Joyce Polycarp’s home in Bandra, where they bid a heartfelt farewell to their late father. Later that evening, actor Arjun Kapoor assisted Malaika as she departed from the house following her father’s death, with Kareena Kapoor also seen leaving with them.
A paparazzi shared a video on Instagram that shows Arjun Kapoor walking out of a building alongside Malaik Arora. To ensure her safety and that of her son, Arhaan Khan, careful Arjun helps Malaika sit in the car. Malaika’s sister, Amrita Arora, is also present in the scene.
At the rear, Arjun and Malaika’s close friend, Kareena Kapoor, was present. Later, Kareena and her sister, actress Karisma Kapoor, exited the building together. As captured onlookers, the Kapoor sisters got into their car jointly.

In her touching tribute, she referred to him as a kind-hearted soul and loving grandfather. The funeral service for her father will take place on September 12 at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai.
