Leveraging this enthusiasm, FILA extended invitations to a festive CASA FILA pop-up in Nolita, NYC, acknowledging the brand’s 113-year history.
FILA has flourished at the intersection of tennis, fashion, and Italian culture, revolutionizing the sport with an energetic charm. Reflecting on its rich history while embracing the future, the brand transported Biella, Italy to New York City on August 29. The temporary event space also offered chances for spectators to watch tournaments, inviting guests to be part of the excitement.
At this event, you’ll find a blend of the new CASA FILA line, historical artifacts, Italian cuisine and drinks, and music by DJ Marco Weibel. The Bellissimo bar serves exclusive cocktails like the classic Hazelnut drink, the Bellissimo Aceto, and the Bellissimo Aperitivo. From September 21 to October 6, enjoy a free espresso and gelato every weekend at this pop-up. On October 2, don’t miss the panel discussion held at the CASA FILA pop-up – a chat between a FILA archivist and James Harris of Throwing Fits.
At the watch party gathering, a dynamic photo display board captured the spirit of the event, snapping photos of attendees engaging with the latest collection and enjoying the games. The CASA FILA line was unveiled last month and showcases elements inspired by classic country club culture along with the brand’s history. Notable items include sweater vests, athletic track suits, and footwear.
