On September 11, 2024, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora experienced the passing of their father, Anil Mehta. Numerous celebrities from Bollywood paid tribute to Mr. Mehta the previous day. Malaika and Amrita said a final farewell to their late dad at the Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai on Thursday. Arbaaz Khan, Malaika’s former husband and producer, along with his family were seen at the Arora residence in Bandra the day before, but Salman Khan was absent from the scene. The following day, Salman Khan made an appearance at the residence of Malaika Arora’s mother to extend condolences as the family copes with the loss of Anil Mehta.
In an Instagram video, it appears that Salman Khan visits Malaika Arora’s parents’ residence in Bandra. Accompanied by hefty security, Salman makes his way through the gate, which is secured with barricades on both sides. It’s worth mentioning that the Khan family and the Aroras share a strong bond. In times of trouble for Malaika, the families have stood together in solidarity.

In professional circles, Salman and Malaika have collaborated multiple times in the Dabangg series. Sadly, Arhaan Khan, Malaika’s son, has been supporting her through a difficult period following the passing of his great-grandfather yesterday. The loss was deeply felt, and Arhaan showed visible signs of grief. A video of him leaving the building following the demise was shared on social media. During this challenging time, Arhaan was accompanied by his cousin Nirvaan Khan, son of Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh.
On hearing about Anil Mehta’s passing on Wednesday, Salman’s parents, Salim Khan and Helen, made their way to the location as well. The day prior, Sohail, Seema, Alvira Agnihotri, Alizeh Agnihotri, and other relatives of the family had already arrived at the same spot.
Previously on Thursday, Arhaan comforted a distraught Malaika during the funeral services. Following her passing, close friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor expressed their heartfelt condolences. Arjun Kapoor, who has been associated with Malaika, offered his support as well. Notable figures like Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan were also seen offering their sympathies at her parents’ residence.
Anil Mehta is left behind by his spouse, Joyce Polycarp, as well as his two children, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora.
