Filmfare recently spilled the beans that the phrase ‘Kudiye’ will be incorporated into the title of this new song they’re working on together. This exciting reunion is a testament to their creative synergy!
On September 13, 2024, Alia posted a photo with Diljit on her Instagram. The image showed them both seated on chairs, facing away from the camera. “Jigra” was written at the top in bold letters. A sign reading “Sings about Kudi” was placed next to Diljit’s chair, while Alia’s chair had a sign that read “The said ‘Kudi.'”. In her caption, Alia wrote, “chairs speak volumes (studio microphone emoji) @diljitdosanjh.

Since the debut of the film’s preview, Jigra’s music has consistently captivated the audience. The remade rendition of the famous tune “Phoolon Ka Taaro” that played in the backdrop created a profound emotional resonance among the spectators.
In the movie Jigra, the tune originally created by RD Burman is being reimagined by Achint, who’s handling the music production. The vocals for this reinterpretation are provided by Vedang Raina, while Varun Grover has contributed some new lyrics to go along with it.
Vedang shared a touching message on Instagram about receiving this chance. He mentioned, “I can tell my younger self was longing for this.” Showing his appreciation to the team, he further stated, “It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that I got to perform a version of one of the most legendary songs in Hindi cinema for a @dharmamovies production.
The movie will hit theaters on October 11, 2024, coinciding with the festival of Dusshera. It’s an action-packed prison break thriller that centers around the bond between Alia and Vedang’s characters, Satya and Ankur, as siblings.
This movie is penned by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala. It’s jointly presented by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The production team includes Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
