Without a doubt, the “Kissing” print by designer Colm Dillane is his most identifiable work. Part of the “Get Cozy with KidSuper” assortment, which encompasses a “Kissing” Squattoman, throw pillow, blanket, and sweater, the PillowSac Accent Chair serves as a fashion-conscious individual’s ideal household declaration. Expanding upon the pair’s initial blue camo MovieSac collaboration from this year, this new furniture item showcases Dillane’s signature design, adorned with identical, plump sections similar to those found on the designer’s coats.
As I stood on the bustling set of our upcoming collaboration, the atmosphere was electrifying, reminiscent of a ’90s sitcom ad. Speaking to TopMob, I couldn’t help but express my enthusiasm: “Over the past few years, we’ve tackled an incredible array of projects. Yet, diving into the world of furniture felt like the most organic next step for us.
He mentioned that they put a lot of effort into making [the chair] plushy enough to resemble the popular KidSuper jacket. It serves multiple purposes, such as functioning as both a chair and a bed, or anything in between. I’ve even witnessed fully grown men enter the store, rest on it for a moment, and drift off to sleep.
