During a chat with TopMob earlier this year, Audrey Nuna shared that she was in her period of “tender skin, deep emotions,” and hinted that her upcoming sophomore album, which hadn’t been announced yet, would reflect this duality. Now, Nuna has made the announcement officially, revealing her second studio album titled TRENCH, accompanied by a new single called “Mine.
On the platform TRENCH, NUNA will carry on portraying the role of her bionic hero character, which she has developed over the past year, through singles like “Suckin Up,” “Jokes on Me,” and “Starving.” These releases underscore her as a complex, otherworldly figure who is tough yet unafraid, yet also values vulnerability as her most powerful asset, according to a press statement.
Approximately three and a half years following the successful studio release of “a liquid breakfast,” TRENCH comes into being, featuring two discs.
