BAPE Joins Forces With Comme Des Garçons for Collaborative Capsule Collection

Oh boy, oh boy! As a long-time connoisseur of streetwear and a devoted follower of both BAPE and Comme des Garçons, this collaboration has me absolutely giddy with excitement! I’ve been waiting for this moment since the whispers first started circulating in 2020. The blend of these two iconic brands is like peanut butter and jelly, or perhaps more accurately, camouflage and urban chic.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming limited-edition capsule collection from BAPE and Comme Des Garçons! This collaboration, which has been in the works since 2020, promises to fuse iconic graphics with innovative designs inspired by BAPE’s early days. Can’t wait to snag some pieces from this Fall/Winter 2024 collection!

This assortment showcases a wide variety of items such as T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, zip-up hoodies, round neck sweatshirts, jeans, plush toys, traditional Cowichan sweaters, and knitted hats. Standout pieces include a T-shirt displaying combined brand emblems and another featuring the latest picture of a BABY MILO plush toy. The long-sleeved shirt incorporates vintage graphics from our archives, while the hoodie offers a retro feel with an intentionally frayed hood.

Furthermore, the crew neck sweatshirts boast a classic, yet updated design thanks to collaborative branding. Meanwhile, the denim pants showcase vintage fading and a distressed logo from the collaboration, providing them with an authentic, worn-out appearance. Notably, the BABY MILO plush toy is adorned with a miniature replica of the pullover hoodie.

Beginning on September 21, a special edition assortment will be accessible at certain BAPE STORE and COMME des GARCONS retail locations.
