Shanaya Kapoor, born to Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, was initially set to debut in Karan Johar’s movie Bedhadak, which has since been shelved. Last year, it became official that Shanaya would make her acting bow with the multi-regional film Vrushabha starring Mohanlal. The newcomer frequently makes news on various online platforms, mostly due to her friendship with BFFs Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan or her fitness routines. Lately, Shanaya has won hearts after feeding a street dog, which is truly heartwarming.
In an Instagram post, Shanaya Kapoor comes across a homeless pup and takes out food from a lunchbox. Bending down, she shares the meal with the dog from a dish. Throughout this interaction, the dog looks at her affectionately. After finishing the meal, the dog continues to eat from the bowl. Shanaya then puts the lunchbox back in her bag and departs. This loving act is bound to melt your heart.
Based on her attire, it appears she just finished a workout. Shanaya donned a pink sports bra and matching shorts, which she accessorized with a white jacket. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail.

In a previous conversation with Indian Express, actor Sanjay Kapoor discussed whether his daughter Shanaya had gained insights from his challenging experiences in the film industry. He described her as intelligent and explained that through observing him navigate those difficulties, she learned not to give up when facing tough times during the struggle phase.
Actor Mubarak, from the Murder series, mentioned that Shanaya is putting in a lot of effort for her Bollywood debut. Surprisingly, she took up training during the COVID-19 pandemic on her own initiative, without any prompting from him. Moreover, he emphasized his intention to keep backing his daughter Shanaya as she navigates her career, ensuring that her aspirations and path are well-aligned.
2023 saw TopMob discover that Karan Johar planned to transform the Student of the Year series into a web show and introduce Shanaya in Student of the Year 3. Simultaneously, Shanaya completed the initial shoot for Mohanlal’s action-packed epic entertainer titled Vrushabha in August of the previous year. Prior to landing her first acting role, Shanaya gained experience as an assistant director on her cousin, actress Janhvi Kapoor’s 2020 film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
