Journalists seemed excited to see Johnny Depp at the press conference held earlier today, although The Hollywood Reporter has learned that twelve foreign reporters decided not to attend a scheduled event with Depp and the rest of the cast due to difficulties regarding access to the film’s director.
At the press conference, Depp compared his tumultuous life to that of Modigliani, citing the legal turmoil and defamation trial following his high-profile breakup with actress Amber Heard: “I think it’s safe to say I’ve experienced a few challenges.
