Sorry Bloodborne Fans, the Remaster Is Still Nowhere to Be Found

As a longtime Bloodborne fan, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment amidst all the excitement from PlayStation’s recent State of Play. While it’s fantastic to see remasters and DLCs for other beloved games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima, it seems that the Bloodborne community has been left out in the cold yet again.

Following the reveal of the new PS5 Pro by Sony, the State of Play event highlighted a multitude of highly anticipated titles, refreshing remakes, and additional content for beloved games within the PlayStation community.

Nevertheless, enthusiasts of Bloodborne are still waiting for an upgraded version of the highly praised Sony game created by FromSoftware.

Here’s a list of standout moments from the latest additions like the Astro Bot DLC and the $10 Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster update in the recent PlayStation State Of Play broadcast.

  • Sonic X Shadow Generations Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack DLC
  • Alan Wake 2 DLC
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
  • Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge DLC

Fans of Bloodborne have expressed disappointment because the game they cherish hasn’t received attention for quite some time now.

A multitude of gamers shared their thoughts about the game’s launch trailer on YouTube and in Reddit posts, expressing that they believe a plethora of excellent games have been left untouched on the PS3, and it was decided by Sony to remaster Horizon Zero Dawn instead.

I’ve seen some witty, sarcastic remarks like “Astro Bot could use a fresh coat of pixels” and “Black Myth Wukong might need a polish as well.” A few folks even joked about Concord needing a remaster, despite only being open for two weeks before closing.

Fans wanted higher frames per second, bug fixes, and quality-of-life updates should Bloodborne get a remaster. Others mentioned that Bloodborne does not need a remake but would rather have a remaster release on PC as well.
