Searchlight Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Limited Edition Line of Hiro Clark T-Shirts

As a die-hard cinephile who’s spent countless hours lost in the magical world of cinema, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement when it comes to this limited-edition collection from Searchlight Pictures and Hiro Clark! These tees aren’t just pieces of clothing; they’re a tribute to some of the most iconic films that have shaped my life and fueled my love for storytelling.

Searchlight Pictures is celebrating a milestone anniversary with … T-shirts!

I’m excited to be part of this collaboration again with the vibrant LA label, Hiro Clark. This time around, it’s to celebrate their 30-year milestone in the gaming industry. Previously, we joined forces for the “Hello Stranger” shirts following the phenomenal success of Andrew Haigh’s critically acclaimed work, All of Us Strangers. This time, I can’t wait to see what we come up with!

Hiro Clark is launching a special edition series of five t-shirts, each priced at $98. These are available in various colors. Of particular interest to movie enthusiasts: this collection pays tribute to five classic films produced by Searchlight Pictures, namely Tamara Jenkins’ 1998 film “Slums of Beverly Hills”, Kimberly Peirce’s 1999 film “Boys Don’t Cry”, Jared Hess’s 2004 film “Napoleon Dynamite”, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris’ 2006 film “Little Miss Sunshine”, and Scott Cooper’s 2009 film “Crazy Heart”.

Andy Salzer, the brand’s creator, expressed his excitement about our recent collaboration with Searchlight Pictures for the Hiro Clark project on Instagram, suggesting that everyone should have their popcorn at the ready!” or

These short-sleeved classic t-shirts, according to Hiro Clark, are crafted from premium 100% slub cotton jersey material, which is a unique type of cotton that’s slightly twisted as it’s woven into the fabric. Moreover, each of these “ultra soft” tees boasts a comfortable, relaxed crew neck design and fits true to size.

Hiro Clark, fresh from a sporty summer due to an official collaboration with Olympics LA28 launched this season, now has a variety of Hollywood-themed items available such as shirts bearing phrases like “Leading Man,” “Stunt Double,” “Rough Cut,” “Based on a True Story,” “The Star,” “On Set” and so on. This aligns perfectly with the brand’s origins in L.A., as it also has a physical store at 677 North Berendo Street in Downtown Los Angeles, where its goods (t-shirts, shorts, caps, hoodies, sweatpants, bags, socks, and bandanas) are displayed for purchase.

To honor its 30th anniversary, Searchlight Studios is celebrating in numerous ways, with even more festivities on the horizon. Street Food Cinema launched a monthly movie screening series in June, concluding this weekend with a showing of Little Miss Sunshine at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park. Meanwhile, Picturehouse in the U.K. is introducing a “This is Searchlight” film series by featuring prominent releases such as The Shape of Water, The Full Monty, Little Miss Sunshine, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Nomadland, and others.
