First Look at the Air Jordan 11 "Bred Velvet"

As a long-time sneaker enthusiast with countless hours logged scouring online forums and sneaker releases, I can confidently say that the Air Jordan 11 “Bred Velvet” is a shoe I’ve been eagerly anticipating since the first whispers of its existence. The iconic “Bred” colorway is a classic, and the addition of velvet to the upper promises an exquisite touch. I remember the last time we saw this colorway in 2019, it was like Christmas come early!

As a die-hard fan, I’m excitedly counting down the days until the release of the Air Jordan 11 “Bred Velvet”! This iconic shoe will be available in the classic colorway of Black/Gym Red/White (DB5457-061), and it’s priced at $225 USD. The big day is set for November 11, so mark your calendars! You can grab a pair exclusively from Nike.

New Update: As speculated earlier this year, we finally get our first glimpse of the upcoming “Bred Velvet” version of the Air Jordan 11 from Jordan Brand. From our initial sneak peek, it appears that the classic “Bred” color scheme will be applied to a velvet upper. The release date has been confirmed as November 11th, available on Nike SNKRS and selected retailers at an introductory price of $225 USD for women’s sizes.

As the 2023 festive season draws to a close, anticipation is growing in the sneaker community regarding the 2024 festive season, with whispers of upcoming releases still swirling. The most recent information from trusted sources like zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files expands on their previous disclosure about an exclusive women’s Air Jordan 1 “Satin Shadow” due in the next holiday season by hinting at another female-exclusive sneaker.

The upcoming Air Jordan 11 collection, which includes a “Space Jam” low-top version, also features a new “Bred Velvet” color scheme. As shown in the image above (mock-up), it appears that the mudguard will be made of velvet instead of patent leather. It’s not yet known if other parts of the upper will also be velvet, but the color pattern is expected to follow the classic “Bred” design consisting of black, red, and white, similar to the version released in 2019.

As of now, we haven’t gotten confirmation from Jordan Brand that the “Bred Velvet” version of the Air Jordan 11 is indeed coming out. But based on our current predictions, it might drop towards the end of the year, around the holiday season. It’s expected to be available on Nike SNKRS and some select retailers, priced at $225 USD in women’s sizes.
