As a long-time gamer and anime enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement over this latest collaboration between Higround and the legendary Hideo Kojima! Having grown up playing Kojima’s groundbreaking games like Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, I’ve always admired his visionary approach to storytelling and attention to detail.
Following the 25th anniversary celebration of the beloved anime “One Piece” by Los Angeles-based Higround, featuring six themed keyboards and seven mousepads adorned with artwork, the brand has now formed a partnership with legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima and his company, Kojima Productions, to release a limited edition collection.
In their recent partnership, Higround has embodied the innovative gaming perspective of Hideo Kojima. This alliance, inspired by the creative genius of the video game designer, presents a unique edition of the Basecamp 65 keyboard, enhanced with revised dampening, alongside an extra-large mousepad. Both items bear the distinctive Kojima Productions logo on a black backdrop, a design that was meticulously crafted in collaboration with Hideo Kojima himself. This collaboration serves as a tribute to Hideo Kojima’s expertise in intricate narratives, fine details, and stunning artwork within his games.
The Kojima Productions x Higround collection officially drops on September 27 at 9 p.m. PT online.
