The story of Ravi, played by none other than Anil Kapoor, is a testament to the power of resilience, generosity, and the magic that unfolds when legends come together.

42 years ago today, on October 1st, 2024, the well-known crime drama movie Shakti celebrates its anniversary. He reminisced about Smita Patil’s kindness when she let him use her room at a distant hotel while they were both shooting the movie.

Today, Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram Stories and shared a collage of pictures of his scenes from the 1982 film Shakti. He expressed, “42 years of Shakti… A film that gave me unforgettable memories and experiences.”

Kapoor went on to express his thanks towards Javed Akhtar, as it was his recommendation that secured him a role in the movie. Without this introduction, he wouldn’t have had the chance to collaborate with esteemed actors such as Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan.

The actor once recounted an incident on the set where actress Smita Patil showed him great kindness. He said, “I can still recall being in a secluded hotel, far from the shooting location, feeling anxious and lonely.
