As a proud alumnus of Howard University, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University“. Ever since the initial partnership between Jordan Brand and my esteemed alma mater was announced, I’ve been eagerly awaiting more collaborations that truly represent the spirit and pride of Bison Nation.
Product Name: Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University
Almost two years ago now, Jordan Brand teamed up with Howard University, an HBCU right here in Washington D.C. Not long after that announcement, they dropped a unique edition of the Air Jordan 6, sporting our school’s crest on its heel. That was just the start – soon enough, they crafted another exclusive version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, with our colors and a distinctive Howard Bison graphic gracing the sockliner. As a proud gamer (and proud alum) of this university, it’s awesome to see such recognition!
This newly unveiled sneaker, inspired by Howard University, is set to become popular with its Air Jordan 1 Low OG theme. The color scheme, reflecting the university, features a base of off-white leather, navy overlays on the forefoot and Swooshes, and red accents on the heel and mini Swoosh at the toe.
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Howard University” release date from Nike hasn’t been disclosed yet, but Sneaker Politics has hinted that it will go on sale on October 12 with a price tag of $140 USD. Keep an eye out for further updates as we wait for official confirmation and images to be revealed.
