The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) grants this prestigious award to songs and albums that exceed 10 million sales units. Notably, Lil Wayne previously received a Diamond plaque for his 2008 hit “Lollipop” in 2022.
A New Orleans-born rapper has shared his dismay at not being selected for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, which will be held in his hometown. Fast forward a bit, and he’s built his own music empire, Young Money Entertainment, which has launched the careers of heavyweights like Nicki Minaj and Drake. The man’s legacy? Unshakable.
