‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Final Season Trailer: Vampires Set Out on Their Own Adventures

As a seasoned gamer who’s seen his fair share of adventures, both virtual and real-life ones, I must say that the trailer for the final season of What We Do in the Shadows has me more excited than a level 90 character about to embark on an epic quest!

The sixth and final season’s trailer for the series What We Do in the Shadows showcases our Staten Island vampire flatmates, Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), embarking on separate adventures.

Previously known character Harvey Guillén, who spent a short time as a vampire during season five, has now moved out of the vampire’s abode to start anew elsewhere.

In my daily grind, I’m immersed in the mysterious realm of corporate America, mastering its intricate nuances. On some days, it feels like a blend of “Thank God, It’s Monday” and “Fuck My Life,” but there are also moments that make me laugh out loud and say, “Not Gonna Lie.

Laszlo persists with his scientific explorations, aiming to infuse vitality into an inanimate object.

When Colin Robinson compares his actions to those of Frankenstein, Laszlo firmly expresses his lack of understanding regarding Colin’s statement.

“What I’m doing is completely original,” he says.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the trailer hints at the appearance of my old roommate and fellow vampire, Jerry (played by Mike O’Brien). It seems he was in a deep sleep, but when he awakens and exclaims “Happy New Year, 1996”, Nadja and Nandor confess they had inadvertently allowed him to snooze for an astonishing 50 years!

After getting a good night’s sleep, Jerry became curious about the activities of the vampires over the last fifty years, and asked them to share.

He asks, “What is our current dark purpose?”

FX implies that Jerry’s presence stirs in the vampires a sense of self-realization about their unfulfilled ambitions: “No achievements to boast, no dreams chased, no territories in the New World claimed (beyond their own street and a portion of Ashley Street).

Yet, that doesn’t deter Nandor from announcing boldly in the preview, “It’s time for the conquest of the new world to begin!

The remainder of the preview hints at further chaos, showcases Nadja and Laszlo engaged in combat, and depicts an unintentional hypnosis scenario where Colin Robinson transforms into Richard Nixon while putting Nandor to sleep.

In the upcoming sixth season, hints from FX suggest that the vampires will venture to New Hampshire, attend a gathering of humans as guests, celebrate the Baron’s event, and summon a demonic entity.

The second and concluding half of season six, which was renewed for two seasons, of the show “What We Do in the Shadows,” begins with three episodes on FX, airing at 10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21. A new episode will follow each week on Mondays thereafter. Each episode will be available to stream on Hulu the next day after its broadcast.

The television series “What We Do in the Shadows” is overseen by executive producers Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, along with showrunners Paul Simms, Sam Johnson, and Garrett Basch.
