As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless controllers, keyboards, and mice that have seen better days, I can’t help but be intrigued by the Brain Dead x Higround collection. With my gaming rig decked out with pop culture references from various eras, this partnership seems like a match made in heaven. The alien-like illustrations on the Summit 65 Keyboard and Basecamp 65 Keyboard are a welcome addition to my cosmic battle station.
Brain Dead collaborates again with gaming hardware brand Higround, launching another line of exclusive accessories. In the previous partnership last year, Brain Dead, a creative studio based in Los Angeles, joined forces with Higround for their debut collection. This collection was snapped up almost immediately upon release.
On this occasion, the pair is presenting four unique items: the Summit 65 Keyboard, the Basecamp 65 Keyboard, a mousepad, and a keycap set, all adorned with Brain Dead artwork. New images reveal one of the newest keyboard models that features a kelly green frame, an alien-like image embossed on the keys, and a co-branded emblem engraved at the device’s base. A vibrant palette of lighting beneath the keys adds a “cosmic” touch to complete the design. In an announcement, Highground CMO Kha Lu shared, “Our initial collaboration with Brain Dead struck a chord with fans from both the gaming and fashion communities, and we felt compelled to continue building on that momentum.
Lu stated that this new assortment provides us with an opportunity to delve deeper into the fusion of gaming and artistic realms, and it also addresses the long-standing demand for a second compilation from fans. Higround currently collaborates with a variety of other prominent partners such as Pokémon, Beats by Dre, and the popular anime series One Piece.
As a hardcore gamer, I’m pumped to share that starting October 8th at 10am PST, I’ll have the exclusive opportunity to grab limited editions of the fresh Brain Dead x Higround collection! You can find these hot items on Higround’s web store, Brain Dead’s LA store, and at Dover Street Market locations in both New York and Los Angeles. Don’t miss out on this awesome drop!
