As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with a soft spot for action-packed franchises, I can’t help but feel both intrigued and amused by the latest developments in the Fast & Furious series. The hints of AI involvement, as shown by Ludacris on social media, add an interesting twist to the storyline that I wouldn’t have expected in this high-octane saga.
For a series as focused on bleeding edge technology as the Fast Saga, it’s kind of crazy that the series hasn’t made any mention of AI tech being used to produce Universal’s high octane blockbusters. But with Fast X’s sequel skipping the crop of upcoming 2025 movies, that milestone still looks to be on the horizon in the near future.
The question remains unanswered: was there a better way to start this than actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges displaying amusing outcomes? It seems artificial intelligence is diligently working to carry on the Fast & Furious storyline into the upcoming year.
The image that Ludacris posted on social media shows us not to overly concern ourselves with this technology potentially taking over acting roles from humans in the immediate future.

The anticipated final installment of the Fast 11 series, which stars Vin Diesel and is set to release in 2026, has left fans eagerly waiting for resolution. This is due to the mind-boggling ending of Fast X, which has left several significant questions unanswered. Additionally, it appears that Dwayne Johnson’s return as Agent Luke Hobbs won’t provide any immediate clarity either.
Additionally, it seems this scene suggests that Dom, his son, and their companions’ future remains uncertain as the events unfold in the upcoming Fast & Furious sequel. Interestingly enough, based on the intense depictions of characters like Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), Tej (Ludacris) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) hanging on for dear life, it appears these individuals could make their appearance in the initial scenes of Fast X’s direct follow-up.
In a way that hopefully preserves the integrity of the depicted characters, this conclusion results in an unpolished yet secure landing. After all, we certainly hope our valued friends from the Fast crime family won’t meet their end at the start of this supposed final journey. However, as Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa) has demonstrated in Fast X, our expectations and reality often differ significantly.
At present, the Fast Saga continues to be filled with unsolved mysteries. The upcoming installment, referred to as Fast 11 (or its yet-to-be-named theater release), is expected in 2026, although the exact date remains unknown. In the interim, you can enjoy streaming Fast X on Prime Video, a film that has already been released and boasts a quality far beyond what AI models might have foreseen.
