Alia Bhatt reveals daughter Raha Kapoor loves RRR’s Naatu Naatu song: ‘We do the steps’

As an ardent fan who has witnessed Alia Bhatt’s journey from Student of the Year to her current stardom, it’s heartwarming to see her evolve not just as an actress but as a loving mother. The way she shares glimpses of her little girl Raha’s life, especially her fondness for songs like Naatu Naatu and Radha Teri Chunri, makes their bond even more endearing.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter, Raha Kapoor, has become a tiny sensation already. Her mom, beaming with pride, can’t help but discuss her little one whenever the chance arises. The accomplished actress frequently posts about Raha’s preferences, dislikes, and favorite activities. Recently, Alia shared that Raha is quite fond of the song “Naatu Naatu,” featuring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, and they even attempt to dance along. However, due to her young age, she isn’t yet fully capable of performing the steps.

At a recent press event, Alia revealed that “Naatu Naatu” is a daily tune in her household. Her little girl, Raha, has taken a liking to it. She often plays the song herself, asking, “Mama, play Naatu Naatu,” and then we oblige. Afterward, she’ll say, “Mama, come here,” and guide me to lean against something for support. Together, we then perform the dance steps.

She then added, “Obviously, she doesn’t know how to do the step, but she has seen my clip doing Naatu Naatu from some award function and says, ‘Show Mama’s video doing Naatu Naatu.’

At a recent press event in Delhi, Alia Bhatt was queried about which song she’d like her daughter to watch first. In response, the award-winning actress shared that the day prior, Raha had already seen the very first song Alia ever filmed – Radha Teri Chunri from Student of the Year, a film directed by Karan Johar. This was also the debut for Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.

As a passionate admirer, let me share that I’ve been gradually introducing melodies to my little cherub, Raha, who just turned two. Yesterday, she had an enchanting time with not one but two tunes – first, it was Radha Teri Chunri, and then she grooved to Badtameez Dil from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. But the real charm started when she first laid eyes on Kesariya from Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, a sight that still brings a smile to my face!

Alia jokingly commented that Raha probably considers dancing to these tunes as utterly common, leaving the crowd chuckling.

As I continue my professional journey, you can catch me soon in the upcoming film “Jigra,” directed by Vasan Bala. In this project, I’ll be sharing the screen with the talented Vedang Raina. Mark your calendars for October 11, 2024, as that’s when we’ll be gracing the big screens together!

Beyond that, I can’t help but be thrilled about the fact that she’s part of YRF’s Alpha with Sharvari. It seems YRF is set to unveil their first female spy movie on Christmas 2024, a project I’m eagerly anticipating! Not only that, but she’s also got Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War in her upcoming roster, which I can hardly wait to see.
