The intricate blend of rose gold, copper, and glass in the aventurine dial is nothing short of captivating – it’s like wearing a miniature cosmos on my wrist!
As a passionate admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Artisans de Genève has once again brought their masterful touch to a timepiece, this time transforming the iconic Rolex Daytona ref. 116500 in their latest custom craft project.
In essence, the timepiece named “Ventura” showcases an aventurine dial, fashioned through a mix of rose gold, copper, and glass. This blend creates a subtle, sparkling effect, with a distinct pattern that’s uniquely formed by chance. This adds a touch of poetry to its captivating celestial charm.
The revamped watch face and border are adorned with polished aventurine, giving off a sparkling celestial vibe, while its markings and golden hands engage in an eye-catching cosmic dialogue. Additionally, the subdials have been reimagined as transparent, allowing the wearer to catch a peek at the watch’s inner workings without flipping it over.
With an impressive 32-hour uninterrupted operation for “Ventura”, the Rolex 4130 caliber is creatively reinvented by master craftsmen at their autonomous watchmaking studio. This revamped version includes a freshly designed openworked gold rotor, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
For “Ventura,” the cost for customization totals 34,520 CHF (approx. $40,216 USD). Every case by Artisans de Genève is uniquely priced depending on the nature of the project. To read more about the project’s process and story, head over to Artisans de Genève’s website.
