He elaborated on this by mentioning that the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a psychologically thrilling masterpiece created by Priyadarshan and Akshay, which established a high benchmark. He expressed admiration for their work and chose not to alter it.
He expressed that Priyanadarshan ji and Akshay created a stunning first film, and he didn’t want to follow the path of psychological thrillers because he desired something unique. As he developed the script, however, it became clear that the key themes they wished to address in the movie leaned more towards horror, so they decided to change the genre instead.
