Devara Worldwide Box Office Collection Update: Jr NTR's action-drama targets Rs 400 crore milestone, courtesy strong hold in week 2

As a cinephile who has seen my fair share of movies, both Indian and international, I must say that Devara Part 1 has truly impressed me. Despite its mixed word-of-mouth, the film has managed to gross an impressive Rs 360 crore worldwide, which is no small feat!

In its second week, the movie Devara Part 1, featuring Jr NTR in two roles and actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, continues to perform well. This multi-regional film has amassed a total of Rs 360 crores, an impressive figure given its mixed reception among audiences.

Devara Part 1 Earns Rs 289 Crore In India, Performs Reasonably Good in Foreign Locations

As an ardent fan, I must confess that the nautical-themed epic directed by the maestro Koratala Siva left me on edge from the get-go. The initial responses were a mix of praise and criticism, but as a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of concern when it seemed like the movie might falter at the box office. However, in true Koratala Siva fashion, the film managed to reel in the audience once again, ultimately delivering a robust performance that left me beaming with pride.

After delivering a powerful earnings of approximately INR 237 crores in India during its first week, the movie earned an additional INR 33.5 crores during its second weekend. Moreover, it maintained its momentum and accumulated around INR 6.5 crores, INR 5.75 crores, and close to INR 5.25 crores on the weekdays. The total gross earnings of Devara Part 1 in India have now surpassed INR 289 crores within just 13 days of its release. It is projected that the movie will conclude its second week with a total gross of around INR 293 crores in India.

1) The film has made approximately 710 million rupees in foreign markets, a reasonable amount given its international distribution agreement. As of now, the global box office earnings for Devar Part 1 amount to 3.6 billion rupees.

Will Devara Be Able To Take Advantage Of The Dussehra Holiday?

The action-entertainer featuring Jr NTR has done exceptionally well in both the Telugu and Hindi markets. But, it’s anticipated that strong competition from upcoming releases could impact its performance in these regions during its third weekend. Meanwhile, Vettaiyan is wrapping up its run in Tamil, while Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video are likely to cause a significant decline at the Hindi box office for the movie. Despite this, there’s still hope that the Koratala Siva film may see an uptick at the Telugu box office during the Dussehra festival.

It’s intriguing to know if the movie can hold its own against fresh competition. According to predictions, it seems that Devara might conclude its worldwide success streak with a total of approximately 4 billion rupees.

About Devara Part 1

In “Devara: Part 1”, Jr NTR plays the central character, a figure who commands fear and respect among the residents of four coastal villages collectively known as Devara. The film chronicles this individual’s life story, initially portraying him as a dacoit before revealing his transformation into an urban legend, having renounced his criminal past.

Because of his intimidating image, fellow villagers are reluctant to commit wrongdoings, as many enemies find it difficult to reestablish dominance. Meanwhile, amidst this tense atmosphere, Vara, his son, endeavors to forge a separate path for himself, offering a stark contrast to his father’s character and influence.

For the rest of the movie, events center on Devara’s adversaries as they try to overpower him and tarnish his legendary reputation. Meanwhile, a mysterious character lurks amongst them, poised to protect his standing.
