Rod Wave shows no signs of slowing down, maintaining a consistent pace of releasing an album annually since 2017. His latest offering, titled “LAST LAP“, comprises 23 tracks and boasts notable collaborations with artists like Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and Rylo Rodriguez.
On the album, there are 23 songs, some of which include hits such as “Passport Junkies,” “Fall Fast in Love,” and more recently charted on Billboard Hot 100. Other notable tracks are “25” and the title track, “Last Lap,” which Rod has dedicated to his late uncle and manager, Uncle Dee, following his passing this summer. A collaborative piece with Lil Yachty and Lil Baby is titled “Fame Off” and appears fifth on the album.
Starting next week, Rod launches his “Last Lap Tour,” covering 36 major arenas all over North America. The tour starts in Phoenix, Arizona on October 19, with acts like Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior and Eelmatic as special guests. The tour continues throughout the U.S., wrapping up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on December 18. This St. Petersburg native is renowned for his extensive touring history, having completed two consecutive nationwide arena tours that brought in tens of millions of dollars.
