The Thunderbolts will reintroduce Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, all previously seen in Black Widow. This group will also include Wyatt Russell’s US Agent from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost from Ant-Man and the Wasp. Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier will take on the role of team leader, implying that anything could happen.

After years of anticipation and speculation, it has been officially announced that the initial family of comics, the Fantastic Four, will step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time on Valentine’s Day 2024. Pedro Pascal will portray Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is set to play Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn has been cast as Johnny Storm. The film, Fantastic Four, seems to be based in the 1960s, although it may not take place in our familiar world. As for whether Robert Downey Jr., who will reprise his role as the villainous Doctor Doom in the MCU, will make an appearance in this movie is yet to be revealed.

As a passionate fan, I’ve been eagerly following the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since its inception, and the introduction of Jonathan Majors as Kang in the first season of Loki truly marked the beginning of the MCU multiverse for me. However, when Marvel decided to part ways with Jonathan Majors, it seemed like a film featuring his character was no more. The uncertainty lingered until 2024 at SDCC when the surprise announcement of Avengers: Doomsday took center stage in place of the previously planned film. To my delight, Robert Downey Jr., who I’ve admired as Iron Man, would be reprising his role, this time as Doctor Doom.
