Brett could have taken any role in the show, but once the character was created, I just couldn’t picture anyone else playing it,” Segel stated. “I believe Brett is a fantastic actor and an extremely sensitive individual who hasn’t had the chance yet to display the full range of his talents. However, I am confident that he will have countless opportunities to do so in future roles.

In the second season of Shrinking, the quirky grieving therapist Jimmy (Segel) and other characters venture into uncharted territories, virtually guaranteeing a third season.
