As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but see similarities between the dynamic world of gaming and the new role taken by Matthew Schuyler at CAA. As a gamer, I’m excited to share that in 2023, I found myself associating with one of the “Big Three” Hollywood agencies – not just any agency, but CAA, which underwent a significant change. Previously, it was independently run, but then a majority stake was sold to Artémis, an investment firm owned by François-Henri Pinault, the CEO of Kering and the heir to a French luxury goods dynasty.
Additionally, he joins CAA following the ongoing transformation of the talent representation sector within the entertainment industry, which was significantly impacted by the repercussions of the writers’ and actors’ strikes in Hollywood.
