Preity Zinta ‘misses’ hubby Gene Goodenough on Karva Chauth; drops heartfelt throwback post to celebrate

As a lifestyle expert, I admire Preity Zinta for her grace and elegance, both on and off-screen. Her life journey is truly inspiring, from her successful acting career to her beautiful family life with Gene Goodenough. The way she balances her personal and professional life is commendable.

During the festivities of Karva Chauth in Bollywood, it appears that actress Preity Zinta is feeling a bit more separated than typical from her husband, Gene Goodenough. Despite not being able to celebrate together this year, she posted a heartfelt selfie from a past Karva Chauth and extended affectionate greetings to everyone enjoying the occasion.

In an old photo posted, the actress from Koi Mil Gaya appears beautiful, wearing a red salwar suit and taking a selfie with a Karva Chauth thali in hand. In another picture, her husband, Gene, joins her for a charming selfie, making them look incredibly cute together.

The caption read, “Happy Karwa Chauth to all those who celebrate it. #missyou #throwback #Ting”.

Actress Preity Zinta got married to Gene Goodenough, a U.S.-based financial analyst, at a private wedding ceremony back in 2016. More recently, in the year 2021, they became parents through surrogacy, welcoming two beautiful babies named Gia and Jai into their family.

Zinta disclosed that she initially encountered her spouse, Gene Goodenough, during an interactive session with fans on Facebook. When someone asked about her love life, the actress from Kal Ho Na Ho revealed that she came across her husband, a financial analyst, six years prior in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.

Preity mentioned that she had been dating Gene for five years before getting married to him, without revealing further insights into their relationship. Her words were, “I first met Gene six years ago, and we dated for five years before deciding to get married.

Preity likewise shared with her audience and online community her conviction about genuine love, stressing that it’s something partners grow to comprehend as time passes. She noted that love persists solely when it is combined with reciprocal respect.

On the career side, Preity is preparing for a return to movie screens in the film “Lahore 1947”. In this production, she will share the screen with Sunny Deol. The actress has been busy filming this project, frequently sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from set.

The movie, which is helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi and backed by Aamir Khan, made its official announcement last October. Notable stars like Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol are set to take on substantial roles within the film.
