After completing the film “Sitaare Zameen Par” directed by RS Prassana, Aamir Khan has been looking into multiple potential projects for his next movie. As previously reported by TopMob, he is currently weighing up around 5 different films: Ujjwal Nikam’s biopic, Rajkumar Santoshi’s comedy “Char Din Ki Zindagi”, a superhero film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Zoya Akhtar’s next project and the sequel to his popular hit, “Ghajini”. Now, TopMob has obtained exclusive information that another movie is being added to Aamir’s list of possibilities.
Based on reports from individuals privy to the project’s progression, there have been discussions between Aamir Khan and Anurag Basu regarding the Kishore Kumar biopic spearheaded by producer Bhushan Kumar. The biopic holds great significance for both Anurag Basu and Bhushan Kumar, who aim to present it in a captivating manner. Aamir Khan, a fervent fan of Kishore Kumar, was captivated by Basu’s unique vision to portray the legendary figure on screen. The filmmaker has chosen an unconventional approach for this project, which is what particularly intrigues Aamir Khan.
Anurag Basu and Aamir have held several discussions, ranging from 4 to 5, and things are progressing positively, leaving everyone optimistic about the upcoming projects. The source revealed that Aamir is considering as many as six films, each at various stages of production. While scripts for Kishore Kumar Biopic, Ujjwal Nikam Biopic, and Rajkumar Santoshi’s comedy have been finalized, Ghajini 2, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next, and Zoya Akhtar’s next are currently in development. Aamir has expressed interest in all these projects, and he plans to make a decision on his next venture by the end of this year.
