FBI: Most Wanted Introduces Nina's Family In New Episode First Look, And There's Bad News For Scola In Crossover From FBI

As a seasoned gamer of both television and real-life drama, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation as the sixth season of FBI: Most Wanted unfolds. The upcoming third episode, titled “White Buffalo,” promises to delve into Nina’s personal life with the arrival of her father and sister in New York City. This is uncharted territory for our resilient task force member, and I can’t help but wonder how this family drama will play out amidst the case of the week.

The sixth installment of “FBI: Most Wanted” is now airing, having premiered in the fall 2024 TV lineup with an episode that left members of the task force concerned. An upcoming episode promises to delve deeply into the personal life of character Nina (played by Shantel VanSanten), as her father and sister visit New York City in addition to the week’s case. Characters from “FBI,” specifically John Boyd, will be making an appearance, though it seems he may not have a pleasant experience given the showrunner’s remarks. Previews for the episode offer glimpses into what awaits Nina, whether it’s good or bad news!

In the third installment of Season 3, titled “White Buffalo,” we’ll be introduced to Hannah Adrian as Nina’s sibling Tink, and John Finn as her father, Walker, according to CBS. Here’s a sneak peek at what viewers can anticipate:

Following a minor rebellious move by a pair of youthful environmental protesters backfires, causing the Fugitive Unit to pursue them relentlessly to prevent their actions from escalating into a catastrophe. Simultaneously, Nina and Scola find themselves embroiled in domestic turmoil as they accommodate her father and sister during their visit to town.

In the Season 6 premiere, we witnessed how a protest led by certain activists took an unexpected turn. However, it seems that “White Buffalo” is steering towards a new path. Unlike previous scenes, Nina’s family drama will be portrayed, which is a novelty on screen for her character. This fresh dynamic among her kin unfolds mere episodes after Nina and Scola resolved their domestic issues. Thankfully, the sneak peek shows Nina smiling with her sister, offering a promising glimpse of what’s to come. Check it out:

In the upcoming family-centric episode, Nina’s smile appears somewhat insincere when gazing at her father, while baby Dougie continues to be adorably charming.

Due to John Boyd leaving the FBI for “White Buffalo,” Nina has asked Scola to assist her during a time when her family is visiting. However, it’s unlikely that her family will warm up to him right away. During a discussion with showrunner David Hudgins about relationships in FBI: Most Wanted before Season 6, he revealed the following about Nina and Scola:

In the beginning, we encounter her father who’ll be visiting from Houston accompanied by Nina’s sister. However, there’s tension between him and Scola, as Scola tends to carry an air of aristocracy. On the other hand, this Texas man is quite straightforward. The tale unfolds into a lively, enlightening journey about Nina’s background, and it leads to an emotional saga involving her sister.

Over the course of his FBI career, Scola has encountered more difficult situations than just having an unhappy father – remember, he was even stabbed during the Season 7 premiere of his own show! So, Walker’s disapproval isn’t ideal for his character or Nina. Here they are as a group:

Absolutely, “FBI: Most Wanted” remains our source for both exciting action sequences and intricate character interactions, as demonstrated in “White Buffalo.” Based on the masks worn by Hana and Remy, it seems that the task force may encounter a danger related to some potent inhalant.

From the sequence of events in these initial photos, it appears that whatever led Hana and Remy to wear masks will result in less harm compared to when Maggie and OA encountered sarin gas on FBI. Every week, I tune in to see my favorite CBS shows occupying the same block of the Dick Wolf TV universe. On Tuesday nights, the action kicks off with FBI airing at 8 PM Eastern Time, then FBI: International follows suit at 9 PM ET, introducing a new leading man Jesse Lee Soffer. Last but not least, my go-to series Most Wanted wraps up the night at 10 PM ET.
