To evaluate the effectiveness of the foundation line, we employed the complete Super Fan Bundle throughout an entire wash day regimen, concluding in a blowout and styling with heated curls. The bundle comprises nine hair care items (including shampoos, conditioners, protein treatment, and masks), but for this test, we selected seven products. Our goal was to find products that would support our hair health goals by promoting length retention, moisture maintenance, and managing frizz and split ends with the rejuvenating properties of Cécred.

To begin, we’re going to share a homemade pre-shampoo treatment that we find effective. We untangled our hair using water and a hydrating conditioner from the brand. This conditioner was incredibly lightweight and smooth, offering fantastic slip for our naturally thick and wavy hair type, making detangling effortless.

After getting rid of tangles, it was time to clean our hair. We started with the Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub, followed by the Hydrating Shampoo. The Clarifying Shampoo is designed to remove product residue and dirt from your hair, much like other products on the market. However, Cécred’s version includes tiny exfoliating beads that dissolve upon contact with the scalp, providing a gentle scrubbing action.

After washing it out, we followed up with a silk rinse, letting it work for another five minutes before rinsing again. The end result left our hair feeling strengthened and primed for fresh products to be absorbed by the hair strands.

This deep conditioning moisturizer revitalizes parched hair, and it certainly accomplished that for me following my protein treatment. Upon application, this product effortlessly seeped into our locks, leaving them feeling luxurious. We then spent 25 minutes with the product – infused with African oils – nestled under a warm dryer cap to ensure complete absorption. Afterward, we rinsed it off.

Wrapping up my Cécred hair care regimen, I section off my tresses and apply the Moisture Sealing Lotion, giving each part a good coat. Once that’s set, I carefully detangle my hair. To finish, I warm up the nourishing hair oil and gently run it through my locks for a sleek and well-groomed appearance.

I distributed lotion across four parts of my hair prior to detangling and drying using my T3 FIT blow dryer. After that, I applied K18 Molecular Repair Oil for heat protection before curling with the T3 Lucea flat iron. Lastly, I enhanced the style with a few drops of Cecred’s Nourishing Hair Oil. Both products left our hair hydrated and shimmering subtly.
