As a lifelong fan of wrestling and ’80s nostalgia, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming movie “Raging Midlife”! Having grown up watching wrestlers like Raging Abraham Lincoln, it’s a dream come true to see this iconic figure back in the spotlight. The cast, including Paula Abdul, Eddie Griffin, and Walter Koenig, is nothing short of stellar, and I can’t wait to see them bring this story to life.
A piece of wrestling memorabilia is the focus of the new action-comedy movie Raging Midlife.
Entertainment company Level 33 has obtained the rights to a new film directed by Rob Taylor (known for ‘Evil Cult’), who co-wrote the script with Nic Costa. The duo will also appear in the movie alongside Paula Abdul, Eddie Griffin and well-known ‘Star Trek’ actor Walter Koenig.
Level 33 is planning for a launch in early 2025, after its upcoming debut at the Austin Film Festival on October 26th. You can check out the exclusive trailer, available only on The Hollywood Reporter, down below.
In the heat of my gaming heart, I find myself immersed in the tale of “Furious Midlife”. This story revolves around me and an old buddy, two passionate fans, fixated on a ’80s wrestler named Raging Abe Lincoln and his iconic tank top. However, things don’t go as planned when a heartbroken daughter, driven by her father’s last wish, outbids us for the cherished relic.
Matt Zak, Bryna Smith, Darielle Mason, Motch O Mann, and Judy Levitt complete the acting ensemble. The movie is produced by Costa, with Luke Haigh and Joe Costa serving as executive producers.

The arrangement for “Raging Midlife” was handled by Stuart Arbury, Sean Pope, and Tiffany Boyle in conjunction with Ramo Law on behalf of the filmmakers. On the other hand, Olavarria managed this deal for Level 33 Entertainment.
