In November 14th, 2024, Suriya and director Siruthai Siva prepare to launch their grand mythical movie titled Kanguva. The cast includes Disha Patani and Bobby Deol alongside them. Suriya Clarifies About Why He Hasn’t Begun Work On Singam 4
At the elite TopMob Masterclass led by Himesh Mankad, Suriya was inquired about the prospect of both Singam and Singham appearing on the big screen together and if discussions regarding this have taken place. For those unfamiliar, Suriya is known as the original ‘Singham’ and his trilogy of Singam has garnered significant appreciation, particularly from Tamil-speaking audiences. Although Suriya didn’t confirm his involvement in the Cop Universe, he revealed that Ajith Kumar, another Tamil movie star, has been inquiring about the sequel to Singam 3 for quite some time. He stated, “Ajith sir keeps asking me, ‘Why aren’t you making the next sequel? Why haven’t you moved forward?’. However, it is up to Hari sir (Harikrishnan, the director of Singam 1, 2 and 3) for us to proceed. I would be eager to participate. But we don’t want to create another one simply because of the title”. He added, “We don’t wish to just progress with the numbers – 3,4, and so on”.

The film Kanguva will be shown in cinemas on November 14th, 2024, with its second trailer set to be released soon. Meanwhile, the action-packed sequel Singham Again is slated for release this Diwali. Although the Soorarai Pottru actor won’t appear in Singham Again, there’s speculation that we may see characters from the Cop Universe sharing screen time with Singam and Singham in the near future.
