According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has scheduled the release of “Predator: Badlands” for November 7, 2025. Originally, this date was assigned to Marvel Studios’ “Blade,” but due to production issues, it has been postponed indefinitely from Disney’s schedule. Even though only three years have passed since the release of “Prey” in 2022, “Badlands” will be the first cinematic Predator movie in seven years, following the box office flop of “The Predator” in 2018.

This decision proved beneficial as “Alien: Romulus” earned $105 million domestically and $350 million globally, making it the second-highest-grossing film in the franchise, unadjusted for inflation.

Interestingly, Disney plans to release an R-rated sci-fi horror film at the start of November, as they anticipate the release of “Zootopia 2,” the sequel to their $1 billion hit from 2016, three weeks later over Thanksgiving weekend.
