As a dedicated follower of Hindi cinema, I must say the collaboration between Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has me thoroughly excited! The fact that they are venturing into an untitled spy comedy is intriguing, given their unique acting styles.

Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are teaming up for their first joint production under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It was earlier reported that their upcoming film, following “Dream Girl 2,” will be produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga, with Aakash Kaushik as the director. More recently, Sara shared a sneak peek from the set of the unnamed spy comedy on Instagram.

The picture shows Sara standing alongside Ayushmann and Aakash, who seem to be in a scenic hill station setting.

Sara dons a black hoodie and jeans, complete with earmuffs, whereas Ayushmann sports a black puffer jacket. Joining them in the scene is Director Kaushik.

The upcoming movie, still untitled, will be directed by Aakash Kaushik. This intriguing production is characterized as a one-of-a-kind spy comedy. Previously, TopMob shared that Karan and Guneet are eagerly anticipating the topic, expressing their excitement because the script has progressed effectively, offering a delightful blend of espionage and humor.

It checked all the boxes for a commercial film, featuring elements of scale, excitement, action, and plenty of comedy. The trio of Karan, Guneet, and Aakash believed that Ayushmann Khurrana was the perfect fit for the role.

This movie is anticipated to be a classic example of an Ayushmann Khurrana production, since it breaks away from all traditional norms of spy movies within the Hindi film industry so far.

Originally known for penning jokes in various comedy movies, Aakash Kaushik is now ready to step into the director’s chair for his first attempt at a spy comedy.

According to the report, they plan to start shooting the movie within a few months, and we’re anticipating an announcement about the final title very soon.

Already, plans had been set for the project’s commencement, aiming to begin filming by June 2024. This production was a joint effort between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.
