As a long-time admirer and follower of Akshay Kumar’s career, I have always been impressed by his dedication to his craft and his philanthropic endeavors. This time around, however, his actions have left me truly inspired! The fact that he’s using this Diwali to give back to Ayodhya’s furry residents, the monkeys, is a testament to his compassionate heart.
This time around, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is making headlines for a touching cause! Instead of focusing on films, he’s pouring his energy into an extraordinary project this Diwali. In partnership with a trust, Akshay intends to provide daily meals to the monkeys residing in Ayodhya, honoring the valor of Hanuman’s army. With a generous promise of 1 crore rupees, he’s working to extend the festive cheer not only to humans but also to our furry companions.
As reported by Times Now, Akshay Kumar plans to pay homage to Lord Ram by offering food to the sacred monkeys who played a significant role in the battle against Ravana. This charitable endeavor is being led by the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, under the wise guidance of Jagatguru Swami Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj.
Upon being reached out to by the trust, the actor from Khel Khel Mein reacted warmly and generously, eagerly consenting to make a contribution. Not only did he pledge his support for the cause, but he also made a substantial donation to guarantee that these revered creatures receive daily meals.
Priya Gupta, who is both the founder and trustee of the Anjaneya Sewa Trust, commended Akshay Kumar for his generous nature. She emphasized that his kindness extended not only to his family members and coworkers but also to the broader community. Notably, she mentioned that he swiftly and generously contributed to this cause, attributing it to his parents, Hari Om and Aruna Bhatia, as well as his father-in-law, Rajesh Khanna.
Gupta stressed that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is not just a significant benefactor but also a thoughtful citizen who takes an interest in the welfare of Ayodhya’s inhabitants. She promised that their monkey feeding endeavors would be managed carefully, aiming to avoid any disturbances or mess within the city.
Regarding his work, Akshay Kumar is now polishing up the final details for the comedy movie Housefull 5. This film, which boasts a large cast, is helmed by director Tarun Mansukhani and is expected to premiere in cinemas on June 6, 2025.
