How to get Shop Tickets in Pokemon TCG Pocket

As a seasoned Pokemon TCG Pocket player with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Shop Tickets are the hidden gems of this game. They may seem insignificant at first glance, but their strategic use can make all the difference in building your perfect deck.

In the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, one of the in-game currencies is known as Shop Tickets. These Shop Tickets are utilized within the game’s store for items like hourglasses, binder covers, and additional cards. The most tactical use of Shop Tickets is purchasing item or support cards, but if you’re short on time, you can spend them on hourglasses to open more packs or to snag a card from other players at random. It’s always advantageous to have plenty of Shop Tickets, so let’s explore all the methods for accumulating them.

Claim your Complimentary Item Set

Every day, right at the store’s entrance, you have an opportunity to collect a Daily Prize. This refreshes every night at midnight, ensuring that it always comes with one Store Voucher inside. Although it might not seem like much, remember, it’s completely free and available daily, so don’t forget to snag it!

Missions

There are a large number of missions within Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, which give a variety of different rewards. Some of them give out Shop Tickets.
Dex Missions

To earn Shop Tickets, simply move to your missions and hover towards Dex. Completing tasks in this area are primarily focused on entering a particular amount of cards into your Dex collection.

Premium Missions

With a Premium Pass subscription, you’ll gain access to exclusive missions, similar to the ones featured in your Daily Missions. However, instead of earning Hourglasses as rewards for those daily tasks, several of these premium missions offer Shop Tickets as prizes.

Battle Tasks

Much like missions, there is a secondary list of Battle Tasks. These are broken down under the Battle Menu, in the Solo Category. These Battle Tasks give a few different rewards for each one completed, often giving out Shop Tickets. Sometimes they require you to do a specific thing in a battle, like play X number of starter Pokemon or beat an opponent using a specific deck.

As you embark on Battle Tasks, you’ll notice that the number of Shop Tickets you earn increases as the difficulty level rises. Here’s how it breaks down:

In the heat of battle, I often find myself delving into the comprehensive walkthrough tucked away in the menu. This guide, though lengthy, offers an in-depth look at the combat mechanics of our game. Plus, it’s a goldmine for Shop Tickets; you earn them as you progress through each chapter.

Other Players

Other players can give you a Shop Ticket if they submit a Thanks to you. This can be done either after another player uses your card pack for their Wonder Pick or after a Battle. This method does rely on another player’s help, but can give you one Shop Ticket per thanks, so it can boost it.

You also earn Shop Tickets by liking posts found within the Community Showcase section of the Social Hub. If you’d like to distribute them, feel free!

Themed Collections

As you open card packs, you will gain new cards added to your Dex. If you complete a Themed Collection, you will gain Shop Tickets. This is a bit hard to achieve, as a lot of the cards you get are down to luck, but you can grab some Shop Tickets through your collections as well. Oh, and before you go, take a look at our
