A variety of well-known celebrities including Backstreet Boys, Blake Shelton, Taye Diggs, Stephen Colbert, and Kelsea Ballerini are joining forces for a charity event aimed at providing aid following Hurricane Helene and Milton. This special benefit concert will take place on November 2nd and can be watched on CBS and CMT networks.
A one-hour charity event, aimed at collecting donations for people affected by the latest hurricanes in southeastern U.S. states, is going to be organized by Paramount Global, with proceeds being directed towards the disaster relief efforts of United Way Worldwide.
Billy Bob Thornton, Tyler Hubbard, Billy Burke, Brittney Spencer, Clay Aiken, Cedric The Entertainer, Chris Janson, Max Thieriot, Nate Burleson, and the Zac Brown Band are some of the notable personalities expected to attend this live-streamed event on Paramount + with Showtime.
Hurricanes Helene and Milton are believed to have inflicted approximately $50 billion worth of destruction, with ongoing recovery efforts being made. A television special was recorded over the weekend in Nashville.
Paramount Global and its brands are honored to work alongside United Way Worldwide on the ‘United Way Hurricane Relief Fund’ campaign. This initiative aims to extend assistance to individuals affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, reaching audiences nationwide as stated by Melissa C. Following generous contributions from celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Dolly Parton towards disaster relief initiatives after hurricanes Helene and Milton wreaked havoc in Florida and North Carolina, a CBS and CMT special is to follow.
The “United Way Benefit for Hurricane Relief” was established collaboratively by Byron V. Garrett, the chief revenue officer at United Way Worldwide, and Paramount Global’s Potter. This special event production is handled by Black & Bespoke, 5X Media, Digital Cinema Collective, and Berman Productions, and will be aired on CBS and CMT networks.
