Salman Khan Death Threat Row: Man who asked for extortion amount of Rs 2 crore from superstar and Zeeshan Siddiqui arrested from Mumbai's Bandra: REPORT

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the entertainment industry, I find myself constantly reminded of the unique challenges that come with being a public figure – especially in the high-profile world of Bollywood. The latest incident involving Salman Khan and an unknown death threat is yet another example of this unfortunate reality.

As a diehard fan of Salman Khan, I can hardly contain my shock and dismay upon learning about the latest death threat he received from some mystery person on Tuesday. This time around, the unidentified villain has threatened to take down not only our beloved Bollywood superstar, but also Maharashtra NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique if they didn’t comply with his extortion demand of a whopping Rs 2 crore. In response, Mumbai Traffic Control swiftly took action by filing a case against this menacing figure and launching an investigation. And just when we thought the story couldn’t get any more dramatic, it was revealed that they managed to apprehend a 56-year-old man as the mastermind behind this chilling threat.

Based on a PTI report, it’s been revealed that Azam Mohammed Mustafa is the individual accused of issuing death threats to Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, son of Baba Siddique. In a direct message sent to the Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp help line, he warned that his message should not be taken lightly and demanded 2 crores. If his demand was not met, he threatened that both celebrities would suffer the same fate as Baba Siddique who was fatally shot by three gunmen in Bandra on October 12.

This afternoon, police apprehended Mustafa, who is said to be a resident of Blue Fame Apartments, a well-known upscale neighborhood in Bandra (West). For those unfamiliar, this area is home to several A-list celebrities from Bollywood, including the stars of Tiger 3. The officers retrieved both the mobile device and the SIM card associated with the crime from the suspect.

In his message to the traffic police, the accused stated, “Ye ek mazak nahi hai. Baba Siddique ko kaise khatam kiya agla nishana Zeeshan Siddiqui hai aur Salman Khan ko bhi same tarah goli mar di jaegi. Salman Khan aur Zeeshan Siddiqui ko 2 cr rupee dene bolo agar jaan bachana hai toh usko mazak mein mat lena ya koi joke 31 October ke din pata chal jayega. Warning to Zeeshan Siddiqui and Salman Khan. (This is not a joke. The way Baba Siddique was killed, Zeeshan Siddiqui is the next target and Salman Khan will also be shot in the same way. Tell them to give Rs 2 crore. This threat should not be treated as a joke or taken lightly or else you will get to know on October 31.)”

Earlier this month, cops arrested a man from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in connection with the threat message sent to Mumbai traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline desk demanding Rs 5 crore from the actor. The person claimed to be part of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, demanding Rs 5 crore from the Dabangg actor to resolve ongoing tensions between them. Later, the unknown man also sent a follow-up message, apologizing and claiming that the previous text was sent by mistake. But despite his apology, he was nabbed and brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Additionally, an individual named Mohammed Tayyab or Gurfan Khan was apprehended in Sector 39, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of issuing a menacing call to Khan and Zeeshan. During this call made to Zeeshan’s public relations office in Bandra East last Friday, he reportedly demanded ransom and issued a warning that he would launch attacks against both parties.
