As a die-hard fan and aspiring actress, I find myself consistently inspired and in awe of the incredible journeys and experiences shared by some of our most revered stars. The stories of Fatima Sana Shaikh‘s encounters with legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Kamal Haasan serve as a testament to their unwavering dedication, discipline, and gratitude for their craft.

Fatima Sana Shaikh recently revealed details about her collaboration with the iconic Amitabh Bachchan in Thugs of Hindostan from 2018. She disclosed an intriguing backstage story where he spent a full day submerged in water, wearing heavy armor as he passionately delivered a significant soliloquy. Incredibly, even under difficult circumstances, he exhibited no signs of exhaustion, demonstrating his remarkable determination and endurance.

During a recent conversation with Filmfare, Fatima Sana Shaikh shared insights about her experience working alongside Amitabh Bachchan on the set of Thugs of Hindostan, an action-adventure film set in period times. She emphasized that acting greats like Mr. Bachchan demonstrate exceptional dedication and appreciation for their profession.

Fatima reminisced about an incident, describing how for an entire day on the set of Thugs, Amitabh Bachchan was fully submerged in water while wearing a heavy armor and delivering a speech. Despite this demanding situation, he never seemed to tire and even asked the director if they could film one more take, wanting to ensure they had captured everything perfectly.

The actress additionally discussed her work collaboration with Aamir Khan, who was her debut co-star in Dangal. She highly commended him for his reliability and cooperative attitude, mentioning that if an actor makes mistakes necessitating numerous retakes, he consistently offers guidance with the same emotional depth, always giving his best during every scene, even when off camera.

She compared him to Manoj Bajpayee, noting his commitment to his acting and punctuality, underlining the high levels of professionalism these renowned performers demonstrate in their roles.

Fatima first stepped into the world of films as a young talent in the highly praised movie Chachi 420, which was helmed by the versatile Kamal Haasan – a man who wrote, directed, and starred in it. Looking back, she spoke about how Kamal consistently arrived on set well before everyone else, at least four hours ahead, to perfect his ‘chachi’ makeup, and he diligently supervised every detail of the production process.

She admired his exceptional talent for juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, reminding us that he not only led the way but also handled the cinematography and immersed himself in the acting performances of his co-stars.

Fatima emphasized the deep humility and unwavering dedication of legendary figures in the industry such as Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. She pointed out that their achievements are rooted in their genuine approach to their work, underlining that they regularly express gratitude for the opportunities they’ve been given.
