- Delta Force: Hawk Ops is going worldwide!
- Garena are set to publish it in South America, Southeast Asia and even further afield
- It’ll release under the simple Delta Force title in those regions
As a long-time fan of the Delta Force series, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with anticipation upon hearing that Delta Force: Hawk Ops is going global! Back when I was a young lad, huddled around our family’s ancient PC, my buddies and I would spend hours strategizing and executing tactical operations in the original Delta Force games.
It seems like it’s been a while since we heard anything new about Delta Force: Hawk Ops, but now it’s making a comeback! The exciting news is that Garena will be distributing this game globally. Countries such as Southeast Asia, South America (including Brazil), Taiwan, and others are included in the list of regions where the game will be published under the Delta Force brand.
This new installment marks a significant step for the franchise, reminiscent of which some long-time fans may recall playing when it initially launched on PC in 1998. Renowned for its accurate portrayal of real-world conflicts, Hawk Ops appears to lean more towards action movies rather than traditional warfare simulations, but that doesn’t diminish its appeal.
Instead of offering a Battle Royale or Deathmatch style gameplay, Delta Force will introduce a Warfare mode initially, where 32-player teams face off against each other. For those who prefer an Extraction Shooter experience, they can collaborate with two other players, scavenging resources and firing away to reach the end.

The upcoming addition to the Delta Force series seems intriguing, though I, along with many others, may harbor doubts about its ability to maintain a gritty, tactical gameplay while catering to mobile gaming trends. However, visually and technically, it appears quite promising. So, we’ll have to wait and see once it’s released, and undoubtedly, there are numerous global gamers eagerly anticipating the opportunity to play it.
