Salman Khan Death Threat Case: 32-year-old man claiming to be Lawrence Bishnoi’s fan arrested in Karnataka; Report

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I find myself constantly following the lives and careers of influential figures in the entertainment industry. The recent turn of events involving Salman Khan is quite concerning, to say the least.

Salman Khan recently received a fresh death threat in which he was asked to apologize at the Bishnoi community temple or pay Rs 5 crore. The police had started their investigation to try and trace the person behind the message. It has now been learned that a 32-year-old man claiming to be gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s fan has been arrested in Karnataka.

As per a report from PTI, a 32-year-old man named Bhikha Ram (also known as Vikram) from Jalore, Rajasthan, has been arrested in Karnataka for allegedly sending death threats to Salman Khan. He was handed over to the Maharashtra Police on November 6, 2024.

According to the report, Haveri Superintendent of Police Anshu Kumar stated that an individual was taken into custody in Haveri Town following intelligence provided by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad.

According to reports from law enforcement, it’s said that this man arrived in Haveri roughly a month and a half ago, having previously resided in various locations across Karnataka. It’s been claimed that he took up lodging in Goudar Oni and was employed at construction sites.

A police insider revealed that the suspect was tuned into a local news station when, unexpectedly, he phoned the Mumbai Police headquarters and made a threatening call towards Salman Khan, stating his intention to cause harm. This individual is known to be a temporary worker and professes to be a follower of criminal figure Lawrence Bishnoi.

As reported, this is the account given by the suspect regarding the incident. However, a thorough investigation will be carried out by the Mumbai Police for a comprehensive understanding of the situation.

Previously, there was news that the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room got a menacing message intended for Salman Khan, allegedly sent by someone pretending to be Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. The contents of the message were: “Salman Khan should either offer an apology at our temple or pay 50 crore rupees as a fine if he wishes to continue living. If he fails to do so, we will end his life. Our group remains active.

Currently, Salman Khan is engrossed in filming his upcoming action movie, titled Sikandar, which takes place in Hyderabad. His co-star for this project is Rashmika Mandanna. The movie is slated to hit theaters on Eid 2025.
