As a seasoned traveler with a penchant for luxury and a soft spot for powerful machines, I can’t help but be utterly captivated by the BRABUS BIG BOY 1200. With its striking black exterior, sleek carbon fiber details, and commanding road presence, this motorhome is a sight to behold on the open road.
Brabus unveiled its inaugural luxury motorhome, the Brabus Big Boy 1200. Named after a powerful locomotive, this nearly 40-foot vehicle embodies the essence of elegance, innovation, and high-performance design that Brabus is known for, on the open highway.
In collaboration with STX Motorhomes from Belgium, the BIG BOY 1200 has been jointly developed. This spacious motorhome boasts a living area of approximately 320 square feet, which is expandable through slide-outs on both sides for ample space for leisure and entertainment. The hydraulic support system ensures stability, while an electrically extendable staircase makes access effortless.
The BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 boasts an exterior that exudes elegance, finished entirely in matte black. A glowing BRABUS emblem and carbon fiber elements such as side wind deflectors and fog light covers add a touch of sophistication to its design. This luxurious vehicle is built for both style and resilience, featuring LED lighting throughout the main, auxiliary, and rear lights, giving it an imposing presence on the road.
Beneath the exterior, a potent 12.8L six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine lies, producing an impressive 530 horsepower and an astounding 1917 pound-feet of torque. This setup is perfect for long journeys, ensuring comfort while maintaining a top speed limited to 56 mph. The interior, bearing the BRABUS insignia, boasts a luxurious gray leather upholstery with the “Triangle” quilting pattern, complemented by fine wood, Alcantara, and carbon trimmings. This motorhome comes fully furnished with a contemporary kitchen, wine cooler, coffee maker, and elegant dining space.
