- Comfortable with lots of room to wiggle
- Good price range for those on a budget
- Long battery life
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the Edifier WH700NB Headphones have become a staple in my gaming arsenal. Coming from someone who’s been through countless pairs of headsets, these are truly a find for those on a budget.
As a music enthusiast, I can’t help but notice the plethora of headphones available in today’s market, each coming at different price points. For budget-conscious audiophiles like myself, DNN noise cancellation headphones offer an appealing combination of comfort and affordability, making them a fantastic choice for those seeking a balanced blend of quality and wallet-friendliness.
From the instant I pulled it out of its packaging, this headset seemed like an ideal companion for any outing. If you’re someone who values noise-cancelling earphones while on the move, at this price point, you likely won’t find a better option than the Edifier WH700NB Headphones. The earcups rotate, making it easy to make this headset quite portable and store it in your bag for convenient use. Inside the package, you’ll only find the headphones themselves and a USB to USB-C charging cable to keep them powered.
Battery life
With wireless headphones, the charge is normally something I always am quite cautious of, as nobody wants to be caught out and about without a working headset. The Edifier WH700NB Headphones boast 68 hours of battery life, which rings true as long as you have the active noise cancellation disabled on the device. If you do have that enabled, you will get around 45 hours of battery life on a full charge, which is pretty decent.
Noice cancellation
The noise cancellation mode is average, which is exactly what you’d expect at this price range, with the ANC blocking out quite a lot of noise. The built-in microphone also has DNN noise cancellation, so if you take calls using this headset, the quality of your microphone is pretty good, even without having a big physical mic that you can see.
You can connect multiple devices
The Edifier WH700NB Headphones don’t have a bunch of customization settings when it comes to sound nor do they have a bunch of features, but you can connect this headset to two devices at once, in case you want to be on a call and play a video game at the same time. Though I have never found a use to connect to two devices, I am sure people who would do this will use this.
Additionally, there’s a Game Mode option available for seamless activation, providing you with minimal sound latency. The headset boasts a remarkable low latency of 0.08ms, ensuring the audio closely syncs with visuals on your screen. Moreover, it offers four pre-set equalizer modes and a dedicated EQifier app to customize certain settings according to your preference. This dependable headset truly delivers as promised.
