As a seasoned Dragon Age: Inquisition player with countless hours spent traversing Thedas, I must say that the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle is one of the most intriguing challenges the game has to offer. With my trusty companion Lucanis by my side and his Spite’s Reach ability at the ready, I found myself engrossed in this garden mystery.
In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you’ll encounter a multitude of brain-teasers designed with distinct hurdles and prizes, ready for you to conquer.
One example is the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle, which players must solve to uncover hidden treasures. This article explains how to solve it.
How To Solve the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle
Begin by navigating towards Treviso, the city that serves as home to Dellamorte Estates, nestled in its northern district.
Here are several methods to reach that location. If you’ve gained access to the Crow’s lair, consider using the zipline to travel eastward.
If not, you can just head north from the Grande Market beacon to reach the Heart and Central area.
On your travels, you’ll move along narrow lanes, traverse over various spans, and come across multiple units of the Antaam military.
Taking down these enemies gives some bonus EXP and boosts Lucanis’ bond if he’s in your party.
Venture towards the east, following the pathway carpeted with gravel and flanked by towering trees. If you journey north instead, you’ll find yourself standing before the grand courtyard of the Dellamorte Estates – the very place where the intriguing statue riddle awaits.
At Dellamorte Estates, there’s a puzzle that takes place within a statue-laden garden. Your task is to strategically arrange four statues so they all face particular directions, thus unveiling the northern courtyard’s gate.
The statues link up with Veil Instabilities, giving you a clue on how to line them up.
Investigate the hints around Lucanis’ Spite’s Reach where the Veil Instabilities are located. With this power, you can create spectral replicas of each statue, all pointing in the directions that the real statues should be positioned.
Every statue in the garden should be rotated to face the same direction as its ghostly counterpart.
Here’s how to find and align each one:
- Western Statue: This statue is situated near the canal’s western edge. After setting off the nearby Veil Instability with Spite’s Reach, you’ll see that this statue needs to face northeast.
- Northwestern Statue: The statue near the gate in the northwest corner should face east after using Spite’s Reach to reveal its direction.
- Northeastern Statue: This statue stands on a slightly elevated platform in the northeast corner. Climb the nearby stairs, activate Spite’s Reach, and adjust this statue to face west.
- Eastern Statue: The final statue is behind a locked gate on the eastern side of the courtyard. You’ll need to locate and trigger three separate levers in the garden courtyard to access it. The levers are hidden behind statues of winged creatures scattered throughout the area. Activate Spite’s Reach on the Veil Instabilities by the winged statues to create hand-like platforms for reaching the levers. Some levers are accessible by jumping, but higher ones require the platforms from Spite’s Reach. After unlocking the gate, use Spite’s Reach on the statue’s Veil Instability to show that it needs to face northwest.
Once the statues on each corner have been properly aligned, the northern gate within the Dellamorte Estate’s courtyard will swing open.
Step right up and stride through this very portal to unearth a hidden chamber brimming with priceless artifacts, among them, the legendary Jenny’s Belt!
As a long-time RPG enthusiast with countless hours spent leveling up characters and battling hordes of enemies, I can confidently say that this unique item is a game-changer. Each time a healing potion is activated, it unleashes an exhilarating “Bees!” effect on nearby foes, significantly boosting my character’s combat effectiveness. The strategic possibilities are endless, and I can’t wait to see how this item enhances my gaming experience!
