As a longtime TikTok enthusiast who’s spent countless hours grooving to the beats of viral sounds and creating my own content, this latest development is nothing short of music to my ears! The ability to directly share tracks from Spotify and Apple Music within the app is an absolute game-changer.
TikTok has rolled out a new feature that’ll further integrate music streaming with the platform.
The tool is named “Share to TikTok” and enables users to upload tracks directly from Spotify and Apple Music onto the app, either on their personal “For You” page or as part of their Stories. This includes sharing individual songs, albums, or playlists. The option to share in green screen mode or photo mode is available for these selections.
Apart from musical content, TikTok will allow its users to stream and share a variety of other content, including podcasts and audiobooks.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that every piece of content I post will trace back to the original streaming platform where it first appeared. This cool new feature is made possible through partnerships TikTok has established with various streaming services. It’s been around six months since TikTok and Universal Music resolved their licensing issues, allowing music from Universal-signed artists to return to the app once more.
