As a long-time Marvel fan who grew up watching Harrison Ford’s iconic roles, I must say I am beyond excited about the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World. The trailer alone sent chills down my spine as it brought together two of my favorite characters – Sam Wilson and General Thaddeus Ross, now transformed into the Red Hulk.
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel the excitement brewing over the upcoming Marvel film, Captain America: Brave New World. This anticipated sequel promises to delve deeper into the journey of Sam Wilson, portrayed by Anthony Mackie, as he navigates through a vast conspiracy that will surely challenge him at every turn.
The first Brave New World trailer only gave viewers a quick glimpse at President Ross’ massive alter ego, and another piece of marketing released by Marvel Studios gave fans another taste. However, with this latest trailer, audiences get to see the military man-turned-politician transform and do battle with Sam. There are some striking shots of the Red Hulk, who looks as comic accurate as people have surely hoped for, and his roar is strong. Those scenes aside, there’s even more to be hyped about.
Towards the climax of the trailer, Sam takes on the monstrous figure, shouting defiantly, “Bring it on!” In an incredible display of agility and strength, Wilson evades a flaming car thrown by the beast and splits the vehicle in two using his powerful wings. Despite not having the super soldier serum, some might think this battle won’t be much to write home about. However, just this one scene suggests that this will be an intense showdown between two determined characters.
Captain America: Brave New World is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide on Valentine’s Day, 2025. Meanwhile, you can catch up on previous Captain America films and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe by subscribing to Disney+ and streaming them in sequence.
