Martin’s rich backstory. For those not familiar with this tale, it takes place a century before the events depicted in “Game of Thrones,” following the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Aegon V Targaryen, also known as Egg, and their surprising bond. During this period, the Targaryens still ruled from the Iron Throne, and the duo traveled across Westeros, navigating the political intricacies of the realm.

Unfortunately, the creator himself, George R.R. Their awe-inspiring presence consistently leaves viewers yearning for more, yet, unlike other episodes, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will not provide additional dragon encounters as it is set approximately a century before the events in Game of Thrones. In this story, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) will reintroduce dragons to the world, however, you won’t find any dragons in this series because they make their appearance after these events unfold.
In the upcoming series, Duncan and Egg’s experiences will be less about grandiose spectacles and more focused on everyday adventures, much like Martin’s original work. This means viewers can expect intricate political maneuverings, formidable adversaries, and a deep dive into the characters of this world – something they haven’t been able to do before.
