- Featuring: Cute little bunnies that you can level up
- An Idle game with a lot of interactions at first
- Plenty of mini-games to keep you busy
As a seasoned gamer who’s seen it all, from the sprawling vistas of Skyrim to the pixelated pizzas of Pizza Tycoon 2000, I must confess that Bunny Haven has managed to carve out a special niche in my heart. It’s like stepping into a whimsical world where the only worries are bunny bellies full and customers satisfied.
Have you ever dreamt of operating a cozy little bunny-themed café? To be honest, I’ve never had the chance to visit such a place where one could frolic with adorable bunnies while enjoying delightful treats, but my imagination paints quite a picture of living in the enchanting world of Bunny Haven.
At Bunny Haven, you manage a charming and endearing bunny sanctuary. Visitors come to enjoy the company of these delightful creatures and may even be offered a sweet snack during their stay. Bunny Haven is an interactive game, where initially there’s a wealth of activities to engage in, but as time progresses, it transforms into a leisurely, long-term game requiring extended periods of waiting before active participation becomes meaningful again.
Visitors will assemble at your fence, each eagerly seeking a particular rabbit that reflects their unique persona, symbolized by an icon. By pairing the right rabbit with their character, you’ll receive a bonus heart for their interaction. Once assigned a rabbit, customers will enter your garden and engage with it. You can interact with them to discover their story and see how long they intend to stay at the cafe. Upon departure, they’ll express their gratitude by gifting hearts. Occasionally, an exclamation mark icon will appear above their heads, indicating that they require something from you.
At Bunny Haven, you’ll encounter small interactive activities to earn extra resources. These tasks can come from your customers, who may require crepes or tea, or they could be requests from the bunnies themselves, such as cleaning up scattered leaves or providing treats. Simply tap on these tasks when they appear, and you’ll receive additional resources upon completion.
These resources are then used to level up your bunnies, so that they can be played with for longer. A main way you are going to get the bulk of your resources are through leveling up your cafe or through baskets, which are awarded for gaining hearts. These baskets require you to wait set amounts of time to open them (or pay a premium currency to open them now).
- Hidden in My Paradise review – “Finding objects, fairies and stories”
At Bunny Haven, there are daily tasks and in-game activities going on. Right now, a event is happening where you have to wait for bundles of plants to open up, which you later sell to customers at a greenhouse. I’m not quite sure how it ties into the main game, but it’s a fun diversion!
In addition, you can accumulate coins inside the game which serve to buy furniture. However, it appears that this furniture doesn’t seem to serve a purpose beyond personal satisfaction since neither characters nor players interact with these items, or show any signs of increased happiness upon visiting. I must admit, I wish there was more significance attached to the furniture in the game.
Bunny Haven is a simple game and feels quite fun to play in little bursts. I do feel the increase in time you need to wait is intense, quickly going from waiting 30s to waiting hours before you are able to interact with the bunny again, but I do like collecting and upgrading the bunnies. It’s a cute game, with lots of mini-games within it.
