Guardian Tales' World 20 update takes you to the sakura-soaked Motori Mountain

  • Kakao Games’ Guardian Tales is getting a major new update
  • Explore World 20 in the sakura-soaked Motor Mountain
  • Befriend a new spirit-wielding hero in the form of Dohwa

As a seasoned Guardian Tales player with countless hours spent battling yokais and exploring mystical worlds, I am beyond thrilled about the latest update! The introduction of World 20, Motori Mountain, promises an enchanting journey through a sakura-soaked landscape that’s reminiscent of my favorite anime backdrops.

As a gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the latest expansion in Kakao Games’ Guardian Tales! We’re venturing into World 20, Motori Mountain now. This breathtaking Japanese-inspired landscape, adorned with blooming sakura trees, is a spiritually charged land filled with temples and shrines just waiting to be explored. And let’s not forget the new companion I’ll be making friends with – a powerful spirit! Can’t wait to see what adventures await in this magical world.

In this recent update, we’re centering our story around Dohwa, a descendant from the lineage of soul mages. This exceptional individual possesses the unique ability to summon spirits and combat the malevolent yokai. Together, you’ll unravel mysteries that have remained hidden even beyond the grave.

In honor of these fresh updates, Kakao Games have launched a unique hero acquisition event running from now until November 26th, and also a memorable event to denote the inclusion of world 20. During this period, fans can engage in rift stage missions to earn points, which they can later swap for an extensive array of prizes.

Dohwa appears to be an intriguing new character joining the Guardian Tales series, with her design inspired by Japanese shrine maidens and traditional religious themes. Kakao Games seem to understand that winter is a season with intense competition from popular games, which is why they’re launching a new free summon event lasting until November 25th. This event aims to attract players by offering a total of 50 summon tickets (10 per day), helping them expand their collection of characters and equipment.

Talking about happenings, if you enjoy games similar to Guardian Tales, particularly ones that debuted this year, don’t forget to participate and make sure they get noticed by voting in the most recent installment of the Pocket Gamer Awards for 2024.
